‘Normal life’ after liver donor surgery –

Major abdominal surgery necessitates caution with heavy lifting and strenuous movements to ensure proper healing and prevent complications.

Women can become pregnant after liver donor surgery, with normal childbirth possible. It’s advisable to wait at least a year post-surgery before conceiving. Breastfeeding is encouraged, and surgical marks don’t hinder pregnancy. Regular communication with healthcare providers is recommended during pregnancy for optimal care.
